Description
These helpful products come in a lovely organic cotton OilChemist bag and make a wonderful gift to yourself or to someone you care about who is having to go through chemotherapy treatment.
The personal inhalers are safely used by Clinical Aromatherapists on cancer wards and are known to be extremely helpful in easing the side effects of chemotherapy treatment.
I usually make these inhalers bespoke with the client so we can choose the essential oils together. However after several years of helping so many, especially my own son, I have been asked to make the most effective inhalers to those who do not necessarily have access to an aromatherapist at hospital. I only blend the oils as I am preparing to send the order, this way they have the longest shelf life possible.
Anti-Nausea Inhaler. Being one of the most common side effects of chemotherapy treatment, Peppermint is well researched in it’s ability to help with nausea and migraines. Myrrh essential oil is also used in this blend. If you prefer Spearmint ( which tends to be a gentler aroma) I am more than happy to make this substitution, please just message me to let me know when you order.
Stress-Less Inhaler. Anxiety and feeling stressed before, travelling to and during treatment is common place for the patient and their carers alike. This inhaler is a blend of Bergamot, Lavender and Vetiver. All these oils are well researched, particularly Bergamot for anxiety and PTSD. Lavender is well known for it´s calming effects on the mind, breath and body. Vetiver known for it’s grounding properties and really helps when inhaled if you are feeling overwhelmed.
I decided to add a Peppermint Bees Butter Lip Balm to the inhaler duo, although it cannot help with mucositis, it keeps the lips well hydrated and healthy which is also very important when the immune system becomes weakened.

I love my set….really helped calm me down before hand…the chemo nausea can be so strong sometimes that you can´t bare to taste or smell anything, so it´s good to use on the easier days of nausea.
